Admission
Thank you for your interest in St. Hugh of Grenoble School. St. Hugh School begins accepting applications in late winter / early spring for the following school year. Currently registered students are given the opportunity to re-register before open registration begins. Once vacancies have been assessed, registration is opened to new families. For the 2008-2009 school year, the Open Registration period will run from January 29 through March 3, 2008. Families who miss the Open Registration period are encouraged to inquire about vacancies throughout the year and may register at any point if a vacancy exists. Students applying for admission to kindergarten must be five years old by September 1 of the first year of enrollment.
Applications are not considered on a first-come, first-served basis. All completed applications received by the March 3rd deadline for Open Registration will receive equal consideration within the following admissions priorities:
1. Siblings - Children who have other family members presently in the school.
2. Parishioners - Baptized children whose parents have been active, contributing members of St. Hugh Parish for at least eight months.
3. Catholic Non-Parishioners - Baptized children whose parents are active, contributing members of another parish other than St. Hugh Parish. The application must include a letter from the Pastor confirming the family's good standing in the parish.
4. Others - All those who do not meet the criteria stated under 1, 2, or 3.
A separate application is required for each student to be considered for admission to St. Hugh of Grenoble School.
